This workshop is designed to raise awareness and support people in defining and identifying burnout, how it's caused and what those signs of burnout are. More importantly this session provides top tips on how we can help ourselves. The earlier we can identify the signs, the earlier we can support ourselves to not get into a worse state.
It is accepted that stress is a part of our everyday lives and there might be times when we start to feel overwhelmed, like we have too much stress. This practical workshop brings to life the concept of stress through different models as well as practical techniques to deal with feelings of overwhelm in the moment.
Mindfulness is a fantastic way to support our sense of wellbeing, in the moment, but also in the longer term to build resilience. But what is it and how can we practice it? This session introduces you to the concept of mindfulness, the benefits of it as well as every day ways of being mindful. We can all be mindful - we just need to access it. Additionally, it includes a practical breathwork session and body scan exercise. At the end of this session you will feel calm and relaxed.
There is a strong link between our mindset and our mental health. This session visits the difference between a fixed mindset, where we believe that talent is inherent, and a growth mindset, where we look at our effort and not just the outcome. Growth mindset is far more than that and can support us in building resilience. You'll take away some top tips on how to develop a growth mindset, and will see how this marries up so well with positive mental health.
Isn't it true that when you laugh about something you feel good? This workshop explores the physical, social, personal and mental health benefits of laughter. It's as simple as that. Top tip, if you aren't feeling great, try to find laughter in something - a cat video, a comedian, speaking to a funny friend.

Here we explore how we can practise being kind to ourselves and how it can influence our overall sense of wellbeing. It is a simple practice but the impacts are incredibly powerful.
Our thoughts are vital to our sense of wellbeing. In times of stress it is natural for us to experience unhelpful and negative thoughts. This workshop helps us to explore the relationship between our thoughts and mental health, but more importantly provides some top tips on challenging unhelpful thoughts early to tackle feelings of stress and anxiety, and boost our mood.
